DOMUS DE JANAS MONTE AIRADU

Multicellular domus with an oblong central room of about 2×6 meters richly decorated with horn-shaped bas-reliefs, blue/light blue residues, a vault reproducing the roof of the hut and a sculpted column in the center of the room. On the sides there are two other cells of about 1.5×1.5 meters. The somewhat damaged entrance faces south. On the column there are also evident attempts at removal using cutting or pointed objects carried out in past eras.

The site can be reached by starting from the town of Romana along the provincial road 28 bis until it joins the S.S. 292. From the crossroads, turn right and travel a few meters to turn right again and take the road that goes around Lake Monteleone for about 1.5 km and then turn left and travel along the entire road for another 400 meters or so. From there, walk in a south-westerly direction for about 200 meters.
