NURAGHE S’ENA

nuraghe S'Ena, Bessude

Nuraghe or also probable enclosure from the Nuragic era built with large blocks of basalt. The structure that remains today demonstrates a reuse of the structure over time, such as, for example, the recent sheepfold built next to the nuraghe, which was then used as a fence for livestock.

LOCATION

Municipality: Bessude
Locality: Pelau

HOW TO REACH IT

Starting from Bessude in the direction of Thiesi, immediately after the cemetery, take the road on the left that leads to the top of “Mount Pelau”. Follow almost the entire road and stop just before the end of the passable stretch. From there, continue on foot northwards for about 100 metres.
